Rozkładownia
A browser app for Polish transport organisers and carriers to build timetables in a spreadsheet-like grid and export them as GTFS for Google Maps and as NeTEx in the Polish national profile.
- GTFS for Google Maps and NeTEx in the Polish national profile generated from one source of truth
- Large timetables maintained in minutes with Excel paste, run copying and time shifts
- A free readiness check that lets any organiser validate their existing data without signing up
01The challenge
Small Polish transport organisers (gminy, powiaty) and bus carriers often keep timetables in Excel or on paper. Passengers already expect their connections in Google Maps, and new rules will require the data in the NeTEx Polish profile at the National Access Point. Existing transit software is expensive, built for big-city operators and full of GTFS and NeTEx jargon — and the official national tooling isn’t finished yet, so the target keeps moving. They need something a gmina clerk can use without training, that produces valid data today and is ready when the requirements are final.
02What we built
Rozkładownia speaks the language printed on every Polish timetable (lines, route variants, runs and symbols) and keeps the file formats out of sight until export. Timetables are edited in a spreadsheet-like grid: type “715” and move on, paste blocks straight from Excel, copy a run every 30 minutes in one step, shift runs by a few minutes, filter by symbol or date, and undo any change. Route variants are built on a map from a catalogue of stops, with travel times calculated from the road network. Every version is validated before publishing, then exported as GTFS for Google Maps and as NeTEx in the Polish national profile with identifiers that stay stable between exports, together with permanent links, passenger timetable pages with QR codes for stops and printable timetables. Until the Ministry publishes its official tools, NeTEx results are labelled as preliminary compliance, so organisers can get ready before the deadline instead of after it. A free readiness check on the landing page validates an existing GTFS or NeTEx file without an account.
